Pesticides Toxicity Controls

Pesticide sprayed into bushes

Regulations

The Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit (MRP) Provision C.9 requires municipalities to implement a pesticide toxicity control program that addresses their own and others' use of pesticides within their jurisdictions, that pose a threat to water quality and that have the potential to enter the municipal storm drain system. The MRP includes regulations on pesticide use to meet Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) of pesticides of concern.
